My son dropped from 45th to 30th percentile in weight. Should I be worried?
AI
A one-time shift of 10–15 points can be normal, especially around 12–18 months when toddlers become more active. His z-score of -0.5 is well within the normal WHO range. Log his next measurement in 4–6 weeks and bring this chart to your next checkup.

My daughter dropped from the 45th to the 30th percentile in weight over 4 months. Should I be worried?
AI
A gradual shift of 15 percentile points can be normal, especially during active toddler phases (12–24 months) when appetite naturally fluctuates. Her current z-score of -0.52 SD is well within the healthy WHO range of ±2 SD. I'd recommend logging her next measurement in 4–6 weeks. If the downward trend continues beyond -1.0 SD, share the PDF with your paediatrician.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What growth standards does GrowChart use?

We use the official WHO Child Growth Standards (2006) and the WHO Growth Reference (2007) for children aged 0–19 years. The same charts used by paediatricians globally.

Is my child's data private?

Yes. GrowChart is self-hosted — your data never passes through third-party analytics platforms. We are fully GDPR compliant and you can export or delete your data at any time.

What is a z-score?

A z-score (or standard deviation score) tells you how far your child's measurement is from the WHO median for their age and sex. A z-score between -2 and +2 is considered normal.

Can I track multiple children?

Free accounts support 1 child. Premium accounts support up to 5 children, and Clinic Pro supports unlimited patient profiles.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your Billing Portal. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
